Terms of Service
Welcome to Kinfable. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who can use it
You must be of legal age (18+) and able to enter into a contract to create an account. You are responsible for the stories and characters you create and for having permission to use any names/features you input.
2. The service
Kinfable generates illustrated, personalized children's stories from fictional characters you create. Stories are produced using artificial intelligence.
3. Account and login
Access is exclusively via Google sign-in. Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Credits, subscriptions and payments
- You get 1 free story (Base layer only: cover + text). Additional stories and extra layers consume credits.
- Credits are obtained via subscription (monthly or yearly) or one-time credit packs, in US dollars (USD), through Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Because these are on-demand digital goods, credits already used are non-refundable, except where required by law. Unused credits may be refunded at our discretion and as applicable law requires.
- The cost of each story is shown before generation.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for illegal or offensive content, content that infringes third-party rights, or to input third parties' personal data without consent. We maintain safeguards to keep content child-appropriate and may decline inappropriate requests.
6. AI-generated content
Stories and images are AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies; they are for entertainment. We grant you a license to use the generated stories for personal, non-commercial purposes (read, print, share with family). The platform, brand and code remain our property.
7. Availability
We strive to keep the service available, but it is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted operation. Generation depends on third-party AI providers.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
10. Governing law
